Loretta Proctor is writing a sequel to her first book The Long Shadow which is set in Salonica in WW1 and then later in the 1930’s just before the Second World War engulfed Greece. The sequel, The Dying Phoenix, is set in the time of Junta. She would be so grateful if anyone could provide her with any information on the Trade Fair in Thessaloniki during that period, and particularly in 1966 (before they took over) when the OTE tower was built. For instance she is interested in how she could get a map of the layout that year, whether it was opened by the then Prime Minister, Stephanopoulos and if the tower had a restaurant at that time. Basically any information, or how to get such information, would be wonderful. www.lorettaproctor.co.uk
