Euripides’ Alexandros reading

Actors of Dionysus in association with the Embassy of Greece, is excited to present Fenella Fielding as Hekabe in a semi-staged reading of Euripides’ lost play ‘Alexandros’, reconstructed from fragments by David Stuttard.

The first play in a ‘Trojan Trilogy’, ‘Alexandros’ tells the story of the hero Paris, fresh from his famous judgement of the beauty contest between three goddesses.

Unperformed for almost two and a half thousand years, you can hear ‘Alexandros’ at Europe House.
