LGR All Star Music Awards – Christos Menidiatis

The LGR (London Greek Radio) All Star Music Awards Semi-Final kicks off on September 15th at the Dugdale Centre, London Road, Enfield Town. Essentially, 11 amazingly talented individuals will be singing their hearts out for the series of gongs. This ultimately leading to the massive final on October 14th, at Millfield Theatre Silver Street Edmonton N18 where there is a live studio audience, as well as selected judges’ vote for whom, they want to win the awards.
The strong line-up comprising Cally Moraitis, Alexia Elena, Ellen Mae Georgiou, Elena Pedonomou, Sophia Karydis, Katie Pedonomou, Roger Grech, Eleni Christofi, Dimitris Coletsis/Jimmy C, Ioanna Athanasiadou, Christos Panagi.
These eleven budding talents will compete for the Best Vocal and special awards including: Runner Up for Best Vocal, Original Music and Song Writer Award, Junior Award, and a Lifetime Achievement Award, will be awarded.
The final will be featuring Modern Laiko singer Christos Menidiatis, coming, all the way from Greece, with a set to treat the fans.
The idea of the format was originally conceived with the main architects of LGR co-producer and broadcaster Vasilis Panayi and Gold record music producer Mike Bennett, and formerly known as the LGR Music Awards.
Its first winner Iphigenia Loucaidou won the Best Vocal Award with the song ‘Aphrodite’ in the Millfield Theatre final of September 25th 2011, also earning Stalo Georgiou her accolade of Original Song-writing.
Supporting acts are The Grecian Kings, and Harry K also Danny K with Valentinos Antos, who’s had something of an excellent few months with the release of his digital hits ‘Fevgo’ and ‘Peftoune T’Astoria’ and one of the dominant forces on the bouzoukia territory, in London. Also, LGR Music Awards winner Iphigenia Loucaidou and Pete the Greek are making up the interval act.
