Melina Kana – Lizeta Kalimeri at Mythopolis

A very special encounter is about to take place at Mythopolis Music Scene on the 20th and 21st of March 2012… Melina Kana will join forces with Lizeta Kalimeri for two unique performances for their London-based audience.
Together they will prepare and present a music show described by mesmerising melodies; from the songs that marked their music career and all the way to new versions of their favourite pieces, the two female artists will embark upon a music journey with us.
With the help of their always well-picked choices in their repertoire, Lizeta Kalimeri and Melina Kana are ensuring us that this music show will offer us the most wonderful emotions. Songs such as Metaksota, Vale Krasi, Aeriko, Milo gia Sena, Itane Aeras, San Kataigida, Pnoi tou Anemou will not only mingle with old-time-classic laika, but also with plenty of surprises…
The two ladies will enchant us with their melodies and their voices and they will definitely surprise us with their improvisations. Their particular chemistry on stage will give the opportunity to the talented female performers to adjust their repertoire accordingly and based on the feeling of the moment. As a result, both nights promise to be unforgettable and enjoyable to the ones who will be lucky to find themselves there.
The singers will be accompanied on stage by the great musicians Nikos Mermigkas (bouzouki & flute) and Vaggelis Kontaratos (guitars).
